Komdigi Blocking Continues: How Domain Rotation Works

A domain that suddenly stops loading is routine for Indonesian players. What matters is not finding a new link fast but confirming the one you find is genuine.

Komdigi Blocking Continues: How Domain Rotation Works

The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs maintains the Trust+ Positif list and directs internet providers to block the domains on it. Hundreds of thousands have been added, and the process runs continuously. Active domains and how to verify them sit on the alternative link page.

How blocking works

Blocking is applied at the provider level, usually through DNS filtering. The effect differs between mobile carriers and fixed-line providers, so one domain can load on one network and fail on another the same day.

What blocking does not touch is your account or your balance. The funds remain; only the route to them disappears. That is why panic after a domain fails is usually unwarranted, and why it is exactly the opening lookalike sites exploit.

Rotation and lookalike sites

Operators respond by preparing backup domains and rotating them periodically. During intensive enforcement a rotation can happen every few days; in normal periods a domain lasts weeks.

The security gap sits here. Every rotation creates a moment when players are actively searching for a new link, and third parties register domains resembling the real one to harvest credentials. A lookalike usually copies the login page exactly, and the only visible difference is the address.

How to verify a link

  1. Take links only from the operator's official Telegram channel or its official bot.
  2. Read the domain character by character before entering a password.
  3. Never use links from search results, ads or open groups.
  4. When in doubt, open the official app instead of a browser — apps use direct API endpoints and are more resistant to blocking.

The mobile app is the most stable route during intensive blocking, because it does not depend on the same web domain. Installation is covered on the app page.

Active domains, official channels and verification steps are on the alternative link page.

The payments side

Alongside access, monitoring runs on transactions. PPATK tracks money flows and has identified five major e-wallets as the most used channels. The practical consequence for players is a possible wallet freeze pending review. The full legal context is in the online betting legality explainer.
